Beaver Scouts are the youngest section in a Scout Group. They can join any age after 6 years old and will stay in the Beaver section until their 8th birthday.
The main theme for Beavers is "Fun and Friendship" which is achieved through activity and challenge within the colony. Learning is achieved through games and activities which can range from Craft to Outdoor activity and from cooking to thinking about their community and of others. To help with this, Beavers are normally put into lodges.
