Aspen Beaver Fun Day for WWF

Report Date 07/07/07

12 Beavers from Aspen Colony with their Leaders and parent helpers spent an afternoon taking part in a fun day based on "Tigers of the World". The Beavers found out about the different tigers, where they come from and located the Countries on a globe. They then had their faces painted as Tigers, before sewing a Tigers Tail, painting a picture of "Shere Khan", the tiger from the Jungle Book stories and making tiger masks.

The afternoon ended with games, food and drink and with each Beaver donating £5 towards a collection for the World Wildlife Fund and their support for those tigers facing extinction.

Well done to Apsen and the team for a great idea and a fun afternoon.
