Hayling Cubs & Scouts win Football

Teams from Jupiter Cub Pack and Eagle Scout Troop won their respective Havant District football competitions.

The Cub event was held at the Hayling United ground at Hayling College where 10 teams took part. Saturn Pack B team did not make the knockout stages of the event, whilst Saturn Pack A team were unlucky to lose their semi final on penalties. The final went to "sudden death" when the Cubs from Jupiter maintained their winning form to return to the HQ with the winners trophy.

The Cubs were very grateful to the Hayling United organisation who organised the pitches, goal posts refreshments and some of the referees. This type of support is invaluable to our organisation.

The Scout event was held at the Warblington School and the final was between the two Hayling Scout troops (Eagles and Lions). After a hard fought final, Eagles beat Lions, the defending champions to keep the trophy on Hayling Island.
