Top Award for Jack

Report Date 16/09/14

Jack Hammond received his Chief Scout's Bronze Award the top award that can be gained by Beavers, aged 6 to 8 years.

To gain this award the Beavers have to demonstrate a range of creative skills, take part in Outdoor challenges, show awareness of the world around us and complete a series of more traditional Scouting related tasks.

As Fiona, the Beaver Leader stated, one of the reasons Jack achieved this award, whilst some Beavers do not was because of his "have a go at everything" approach to life.

On presenting the awards, Tim Pike, District Commissioner for Havant Socuting congratulated Jack and thanked his families and the Leaders for their support.
