A camp with a purpose

Report Date 05/12/07

12 Scouts, Explorers and Leaders spent a rather wet weekend in East Sussex at the Broadstone Warren camp site.

The main objective was to help the Camp Warden by cutting down Rhododendrum which spreads throughout the camp site in readiness for next years full camping season. Despite the rain, the camp organised by Jamie Bray was great fun, particularly being able to sit around a camp fire in the evening. (burning the rhodi cut down during an earlier visit this year
